| "Holy City of the Wichitas“ (Heilige Stadt der Wichita Berge) Dort finden seit 1926 alljährlich die ältesten Passionsspiele in Amerika statt. Urheber war der in Österreich geborene Pfarrer Anthony Mark Wallock (1890 - 1948). Die Gebäude auf der riesigen Freilichtbühne wurden in den 30er Jahren des 20. Jahrhunderts errichtet. Mount Scott ist der dritthöchste Berg in Oklahoma
(751 m). Mount Pinchot liegt mit 755 m an zweiter
Stelle, er befindet sich ebenfalls in den Wichita
Bergen. Die höchste Erhebung in Oklahoma ist das
Black Mesa (1516 m) in der nordwestlichen Ecke
des Oklahoma ,,Pfannenstiels", dort wo Oklahoma,
New Mexico und Colorado aneinander grenzen.
